Hello, it’s THE RIDE here, with a list of my seven favorite things to do in New York City this fall (special hint: I’ve saved the best for last!):
- Enjoy the Fall Foliage in Central Park
You don’t need to go far to enjoy leaves in brilliant shades of gold, orange and scarlet—just take a walk through Central Park!
- Attend the New York City Wine & Food Festival
Relish the amazing tastings, once-in-a-lifetime dining experiences and inspirational culinary demos at the New York City Wine & Food Festival from October 13-16.
- Try a Brew at the Zoo
You’ve never had an Oktoberfest like this, as the Bronx Zoo’s Brew at the Zoo offers over 100 varieties of beer plus food, live music, and an abundance of DJ’s on Saturday, October 29.
- Indulge in the Bounty at Your Favorite Farmers’ Market
Farms are now harvesting their most abundant crops of the year and their stalls at NYC greenmarkets are overflowing with all kinds of tasty treats. So go ahead and stock up!
- Gawk at the Giant Pumpkins
The New York Botanical Garden presents special seasonal exhibits featuring ginormous pumpkins, spooky scarecrows, and plenty of surprises.
- Join the Village Halloween Parade
The Village Halloween Parade is an annual tradition like no other, so why not join the festivities this Halloween?
