Hey! THE RIDE here again to talk about the joys of spring! Only a handful of days left with this cold weather and soon we will be enjoying a great spring time in New York City. Speaking of great weather, is there a better place to unwind and get out of the city streets than Central Park? Refreshing aroma, picnics, great vibes, Central Park has it all.
One of the best ways to explore the park is by renting a bike and going around the entire park. Just because most of the people stick to the touristy sights in the south part doesn’t mean that there isn’t anything to see in the north. As a matter of fact, some of the most breath-taking views of the park are indeed in the north.
Did you know that there are 3 gorgeous waterfalls located at one of the most secluded areas in Central Park – The Ravine? Don’t worry, a lot of people have no idea about all the hidden gems in the north.
How about Belvedere Castle? Overlooking the Great Lawn, the Belvedere Castle is a great place to enjoy the scenery and take some time to relax and reflect. Don’t be surprised if you see a man getting down on one knee, as Belvedere Castle remains the most popular wedding proposal destination in NYC.
Stay active and pick up your bicycle from our partner and my personal buddy, Central Park Tours, located just blocks away from the Park on Broadway and 52nd Street. Check their visitor center for anything Central Park related, and of course for everything else there is THE RIDE!
