Another rough week in the New York City metropolitan area with losses from Covid-19 growing. On the positive side, there is a strong belief – and faith – that we may have reached the peak in attempting to “flatten-the-curve” and move toward restoration of the new normal. I am doing my part to be ready to get back on the road as I have remained alone in the parking lot and have been religious about obeying social distancing.
However, yesterday I had to depart my lot and hit the highway to attend my rescheduled Department of Transportation semi-annual physical check-up. Not optional!!!
Here I am about to pull into the examiner’s garage
This next shot is not for anyone under 21 years of age as I am shamelessly exposed in preparation for the DOT technician to look under my hood!!!!
The good news to share with you is that I passed my inspection with kudos and am now ready to welcome you back aboard The Ride, hopefully, very soon. #prepared #revolutionizingsightseeing
Back to my solitude at Red Hook Terminal because we continue to be locked down until the end of April. Social distance, stay well, stay vigilant and my team and I miss you!!
More later . . .
